I think Antonio is the only viable option to play theRapy role..running the channels etc.
In theory that is..looked the part in the championship...I suspect Bilic won't risk his inexperience to start as our main striker.

Mostly short term knocks not 2 year layoffs, don't recall anyone saying he was injury prone when we signed him either. Most players get a few knocks in 18 months.
Ashton and Sakho were injury prone too I suppose and Valencia?

And your argument rests on your claim that all those players were injury prone before we signed them when fact is only Bellamy was arguably injury prone.
